Today I was informed that I have received the Clients' Choice Award from Avvo, in the form of the following message received via email:

“Congratulations! Because you have received five or more 4- or 5-star client reviews on Avvo this year, we are pleased to present you with the Clients' Choice Award! Show off your award with the Clients' Choice Badge. It's simple: just copy and paste a few lines of code to your website or blog.”

Avvo.com is a for profit commercial website that offers information regarding lawyers education, licensing and misconduct history on their website. In my opinion, Avvo.com should not be relied on solely as a means of choosing a lawyer to help you with your needs. However, I do think they provide some useful information when you are beginning your search for an attorney. You can see the Badge displaying my Clients' Choice Award on the home page of my website under the text for the “Services” heading on the right hand side. You can click on this badge and view my profile on Avvo as well as reviews left by clients, many of which are also listed on my website under the Client Testimonials page.
